Gevrey Chambertin
A bright ruby red robe evolving toward carmine almost like morello cherries with red hues. On the nose strawberry, blackberry, mignonette and rose. Cellaring it adds liquorice, leather, fur, wild game and glade aromas. On the palate the wine is square, rich, full-bodied and powerful. Gevrey-Chambertin is a great example of what Burgundy does best. The velvety tannins contribute to balance in finesse the firm structure of the wine. Astonishing when enjoyed on its first years when fruitiness is at its apex, this wine is above all crafted to have a very good ageing potential.
