Chateau de Cassana AOC Haut Medoc 2017
Linear but nicely fruited 2017 that shows fine, silky tannins, some pretty brambleberries and red plums and a nutmeg-flavored finish. (James Suckling 2019)
Deep ruby with clear hue at the tip of the glass. On the nose there is a hint of cassis and dark fruit, the palate is earthy with black cherry and tobacco. The tannins are strong and the wine needs to breath but it’s not bad at all. Vintage of 2015 was 4.2 Vivino Score.
